Brasserie Cinq is a hidden gem located on Dhole Patil Road in Pune. I went there for Valentine’s Day and was very pleasantly surprised at just how authentic the French cuisine they served was. Fresh ingredients, an extensive menu of mouthwatering dishes, beautifully plated. The restaurant is small and cozy and exudes warmth and joy.

The food was downright wonderful. You can’t really go wrong with whatever you order. I was especially impressed with the French Onion soup which is a favourite dish of mine. The fish was cooked perfectly and the chocolate mousse with raspberry sorbet was a delight to finish off the meal. I did pay more attention to my date than to the food to be honest , so I’ll have to visit again for an in-depth review. I am looking forward to my second visit.
